Registration Notice for Overseas Students

According to the regulations of student administration of Lanzhou University, students who are newly enrolled by our University should complete their registration procedures with the “Admission Notice of Lanzhou University” within the prescribed period, and if they are not able to complete the procedures on schedule for some reasons, they should apply a delayed registration from university. Students who fail to do so, except for legitimate reasons such as force majeure., are regarded as giving up his/her chance to study in Lanzhou University.
Current students should complete the registration procedures at the beginning of each semester, and if they are not able to complete the procedures on schedule for some reasons, they should apply a delayed registration from university. Students who fail to do so are regarded as giving up his/her chance to continue to study, therefore, their qualifications in studying in Lanzhou University will be canceled from university.
Ⅰ. Who should register:
1. Newly-enrolled students.
2. Current students.
Ⅱ. Registration Time:
Registration time for the Fall semester of 2021 begins on August 28, 2021 and ends on August 31, 2021. For students who are currently not in China, please submit the application form on time (before August 31). For students currently in China, please go to office 703 of the School of International Cultural Exchange to submit the application form and complete the on-site registration procedure.
Ⅲ. How to register:
1. For Student currently not in China
①For newly-enrolled Students: fill in the Attachment 1, “Lanzhou University Registration Form for Overseas Students (for New-enrolled Students)in the First Semester of 2021-2022 Academic Year" and send it to firstname.lastname@example.org .
②For current students: fill in Attachment 2, “Lanzhou University Registration Form for Overseas Students (for Old Students) in the First Semester of 2021-2022 Academic Year” and send it to email@example.com .
2. For Students in China
The newly-enrolled Students should fill in Attachment 1 and the current students should fill in Attachment 2, and then submit them to Office 703 of the School of International Cultural Exchange for on-site registration.
Registration is a necessary way for students to obtain academic status and an important basis for the school to arrange teaching activities for students. For international students, registration is also related to scholarship evaluation. Students are requested to attach great importance to the registration, and cooperate with the teachers who are in charge to complete the registration in a timely manner in accordance with the requirements of the University and the school.
